Recruiting Coordinator

Our healthcare client is seeking a Part-time Recruiting Coordinator to assist the Recruiting Department on the hiring of all of their healthcare employees.

Part-time 20 hours a week, 4 hours a day

Pay rate: $17-$20hr

 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Participates in the onboarding process by assisting employees with completing their new hire paperwork and following up on missing information.
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains records in compliance with regulations.
  • Submits background checks online for prospective hires.
  • Data entry of new hire, status changes and terminations into HRIS.
  • Liaises with Corporate HR and Payroll team to rectify issues.
  • Reconciles benefit invoices and submits for payment.
  • Assists with the preparation of HR initiatives such as Open Enrollment, Performance Evaluations and Compliance Testing.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process by phone screening candidates, setting up interviews, and making offers.
  • Maintenance of personnel records, including creation, filing and purging of documents.
  • Conducts audits as necessary of various payroll, benefits and other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Maintains organizational chart.
  • Creates employee badges.
  • Responds to verifications of employment.
  • Data Entry of Time off Requests, Travel Stipends and other payroll codes in preparation for payroll processing.
  • Notifies supervisors and/or employees of timecard issues.
  • Sends payroll transmission to Corporate.
  • Reviews payroll reports for errors and edits.
  • Performs clerical functions, such as photocopies, fax and scanning.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence.
  • Is reliable. Reports to work on time, as schedule, on a regular basis ready to work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Able to work a Part-time schedule of 20 hours a week
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of Recruiting Coordinating experience  required.
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources preferred.
  • Prior experience working the HRIS database preferred.
