HR Generalist

HR Generalist needed for Renton Sporting company.

***3-4 months contract***

 

 

In this contract role as an HR Generalist, you will be completing the following responsibilities:

  • Paylocity Payroll System - Employee maintenance (new hires, terms, changes to salary, depts., job titles, worker comp codes, etc.)
  • Maintain employee personnel and benefits files.
  • Handle employment verifications.
  • 1095-c audit to make sure coverages are correct for both dates of coverage and dependent coverages.  Make any necessary corrections.
  • Process Unemployment Claim Forms
  • FMLA leave forms
  • Process garnishments and complete the Writ of Garnishment paperwork and return to agency, along with payments.
  • E-Verify (must be done during first 3 days of employment), process Background and Drug Screens
  • Prepare OSHA 300 year-end report
  • Exit interviews
  • Recruiting process, including posting jobs and setting up interviews
  • Performance evaluation schedule and record maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in an HR Generalist role
  • Strong background in full-cycle recruitment
  • Knowledge of benefits administration
  • Demonstrated ability to provide sound judgment and problem-solving skills in resolving HR matters
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and regulations, including the FLSA
  • High level of customer focus and service orientation
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
