Benefit Service Representative needed for actuarial and consulting firm


Pay: $15.50 - $16.00/hour


Location: Downtown Seattle


Contract Length: 2 – 3 months

Now our client has a need for a Benefit Service Representative to be responsible for telephone communication with plan participants in their inbound call center regarding a variety of employee benefits. In this role, you would work closely with the Health and Welfare Benefit Analyst to educate plan participants on benefit options and assist them in making annual enrollment elections.




  • Receive approximately 40 calls per day from employees or client human resource representatives
  • Serve as a conduit to guide and direct employees to the correct resources
  • Update employee elections in the benefit databases
  • Process incoming/outgoing paperwork for plan participants
  • Keep client and participant data secure and confidential



  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime
  • Health and welfare benefits experience preferred
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required
